Lemon Balm

Lemon balm is a member of the mint family. In culinary uses, it is a favored aromatic herb for enhancing drinks, fish dishes, desserts, and dressings. Medically, lemon balm is valued as a medicinal herb, often used for its calming properties, largely due to its essential oils, citral and citronellal. These essential oils help prevent the breakdown of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation, thereby increasing its levels and effects. Lemon balm can effectively support relaxation of both the body and mind* and aid in achieving restful sleep*. The leaves also contain bitter substances, saponins, thymol, triterpenic acids, resins, flavonoids, glycosides, mucilage, and vitamin C.

Contains 180 mg of lemon balm extract per pipette (1 ml), which corresponds to 1800 mg (10:1) of dried lemon balm.
The extract is derived from the above-ground parts of the plant, including leaves, stems, flowers, fruits, and seeds, as these contain the highest concentration of active ingredients.
This product is distinguished by its water-based extraction process, ensuring it is completely alcohol-free, unlike conventional alcohol-based extracts.
The final product is exceptionally pure, containing only purified water and organic glycerin from linseed alongside the extract.
