“I am a positive enthusiastic spirit –

like every creative person I love to be inspired, to provoke change and to discover new things around me. I balance this energy with professionalism and drive to make every cut and shave a millimetre more precise and better than my last.”

A lady – a business woman who’s hair I have cut for many years shared with me:

“I love to come here because you have a particular charming crazy – an absurd balance between emotional intelligence, motivating enthusiasm, child-like honesty and settled professionalism. This combination is rare. When I come here I relax and recharge. I also always feel comfortable with my hair after you cut it – you preserve it’s wild charm.”

A craft, that turned into a profession, that grew into a passion – this is the evolution of Yordan’s relationship with hair dressing. The pursuit of knowledge and authentic experience has taken him around Europe, from the Vidal Sassoon academy in London, through street haircuts in Berlin, France and Italy to traditional Turkish barber shops in Istanbul. Balkan Barber is the materialisation of his diverse experience and the expression of his vision of, style, barbering and mindful living.
